GPUse Email Communications Policy
Last updated: August 2024
1. Purpose and Scope
This Email Communications Policy (“Policy”) explains how GPUse, LLC manages email and in-product messaging related to the GPUse platform. It covers transactional notifications, security alerts, onboarding messages, marketing announcements, and MCP or API-generated emails. It supplements the GPUse Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Communication Categories
- Transactional communications: magic-link authentication, instance lifecycle alerts, billing receipts, credit balance updates, incident notices, and legal updates.
- Operational updates: feature changes, maintenance windows, or policy updates relevant to active users.
- Marketing messages: optional product news, beta invitations, case studies, or events sent only with consent or where permitted by law.
3. Consent and Preferences
GPUse collects marketing consent through clear opt-ins during signup, checkout, or form submissions. You may withdraw consent at any time via unsubscribe links or by emailing legal@gpuse.com. Opt-out requests are honored within ten business days.
4. Footer and Identity
All emails include the sender name GPUse LLC, reply address legal@gpuse.com, and our mailing details:
GPUse LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA
Mailing: 1101 Hay Street, Suite 1082, West Perth WA 6005, Australia
Marketing emails also include a clear unsubscribe link or instructions.
5. Data Use and Confidentiality
We track limited engagement metrics—such as delivery status or link clicks—to improve deliverability and monitor abuse. We do not sell or rent engagement data. Access to logs is restricted to authorized personnel supporting the Services.
6. Frequency
Transactional emails are tied to user activity. Marketing messages are paced to avoid high frequency, and urgent notifications may be sent irrespective of marketing preferences when required for security or legal compliance.
7. Compliance
GPUse complies with applicable communications laws, including CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and other anti-spam regulations. We maintain consent records and require vendors acting on our behalf to follow equivalent standards.
8. Incident Response
If you suspect email abuse or receive phishing messages spoofing GPUse, contact legal@gpuse.com. We investigate reports, take appropriate action, and notify affected users if required by law.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in communication practices or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will change, and material updates will be communicated. Continued use of GPUse communications after the effective date signifies acceptance.
